'Athlete Matters' is based in Worsley Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic located in Manchester, with good access routes from all of North West. We are Chartered Physiotherapists registered with the Health Professions Council.
We currently look after all levels of athlete, including several international class athletes. We offer prompt management of sports injuries to deal with your problem before it escalates, using the most recent evidence based techniques. We use a prehabilitative approach, whereby we apply physiotherapy treatment with the aim of maintaining fitness to train and compete, and to avoid injuries. There are exercise classes run from our studio – Pilates, Athlete Specific Core Stability and Circuits.
UK Athletics accredited. BUPA registered.
Duncan Mason the Director has first hand experience of marathon running having competed in London three times (and boasts a PB of 2’20).
