Back on Track Sports Injuries Clinic is a specialist Sports Injuries Clinic founded by Sarah Connors. Sarah and her team all have experience of treating elite sports people. Sarah herself has worked with the Great Britain athletics teams for 15 years, travelling to all major games including the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2004 Athens Olympics. This experience is used in the clinic to treat sports people of all levels, with the same degree of expertise and understanding.
Sarah's team of Chartered Physiotherapists all have post graduate specialisation and experience in sports injuries. The clinic's core expertise is manual therapy. This means they use their hands to ensure that spinal structures are moving freely, working towards normal biomechanics of the joints, and thus taking the strain off muscles and tendons.
Core stability exercises will be used to help you return to fitness and there is an adjacent athletics track which is used for rehabilitation and biomechanical analysis where necessary.
The team also includes a Sports Physician, Sports Masseurs and the clinic has close links to Orthopaedic Surgeons and Podiatrists.
Please contact the team to discuss your marathon screening or specific injury problem.
