Research has shown that a staggering (literally) 58% of runners will have their training interrupted by injury.
Whilst only small percentages are unable to compete, at least 35% feel that injury has an adverse effect on their performance.
At Sprint our highly experienced physios will work with you to reduce your pain and help you achieve your goals week by week. Firstly we perform a full biomechanical assessment including video analysis of gait and running. We then work to improve mobility and flexibility where indicated using manual techniques, followed by rehabilitation especially designed for you in our fully equipped gym with treadmill, Pilates equipment and all manner of other toys. We also have sports massage to help ease the aches and pains of repeated training sessions and links with podiatrists and footwear outlets to help you choose the best equipment.
If you have no specific injury but would like to improve performance or keep the injury monster at bay, we are also running pre-marathon training classes where we will focus on the components required to enhance and optimise your training.
Sprinting may be the last thing you feel like doing after 26 miles, but we’re here to help you reach that finish line.
We'll also donate 5% of your total treatment costs during your marathon preparation/recovery to your chosen charity.
